TeamGym - Global Expansion in Focus

European Gymnastics has long worked to promote the growth of gymnastics worldwide. Recently, the sport of TeamGym has gained strong traction in Sweden, becoming one of the country's most popular sports. TeamGym has also grown across Europe, but outside Europe’s borders, few countries practice the sport, despite its existence for over 40 years. To increase the visibility of the sport and support countries that wish to introduce TeamGym, European Gymnastics initiated a project in 2023. And this is where we came into the picture.

European Gymnastics turned to us to produce three films that visually highlight the sport, its essence, and the resources needed to get started. We participated in the entire process, from the initial storyboard sketches and voiceover to editing and selecting materials.

To create a genuine narrative with a consistent theme, we filmed scenes in various gymnastics halls around Sweden. Through these recordings, we were able to capture authentic and dynamic footage of gymnasts in their natural training environments. This material was then combined with existing clips to create a lively and visual story.
